In today’s competitive and dynamic global environment, Government Arts, Commerce and Science College, Kachhal (GACSC) has earned its name as an institute providing quality higher education in the rural belt of Surat district. The college is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and managed by the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. The college offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce and Science streams. The college was established in the year 2001 as a part of Government of Gujarat Initiative for imparting higher education to the society. Initially the college operated from a school building in village Karcheliya of Dist Surat. Later on, the college was allotted new building in the year 2011 spread in green natural environment. The College has a well-endowed building conveniently accessible by road The College with its prime focus on serving the entire community, consider students as key assets. The College has on its faculty, highly qualified academicians known for their specialization in their respective areas. They have been actively involved in the development of new curriculum, undertaking research projects, conducting workshops etc. State-of-the-Art Infrastructure GACSC, with its infrastructure competitive to international standards and is one of the few colleges in the South Gujarat which has upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The College campus is equipped with NAMO and Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, library, girl’s room, sports room etc.
